Design and Construction of The Egg Plug

With The Egg Plug, Erotixxx Toys moves away from the realistic shapes found throughout much of its catalog in favor of an anal plug directly inspired by… an egg. While the Butt Plug already hinted at this silhouette without fully embracing it, this new model openly adopts the concept—even in its name. In use, The Egg Plug delivers an experience that differs significantly from the brand’s Butt Plug. While the latter offered a relatively approachable progression, this new model is all about size. From the very first inches, it presents a substantial diameter that requires considerably more preparation and control.

A Demanding Insertion from Start to Finish

Despite its perfectly rounded tip, The Egg Plug is not something I would describe as easy to insert. Its large diameter immediately presents its biggest challenge: you’re confronted with a very wide head right from the beginning, without any real gradual progression.

In this X Large version, insertion requires patience, plenty of water-based lubricant, and above all, careful control of your movements. Trying to rush the process can quickly turn the experience into an uncomfortable one. Taking your time, on the other hand, allows the plug to progress in a much more controlled and manageable way.

The 75% Soft silicone used in my sample certainly helps. Under the pressure required for insertion, the neck flexes slightly without ever becoming unstable.
