TL;DR
The Alien by Uncover Creations is a silicone dildo with a bold aesthetic, featuring a well-defined head, a curved shape, and subtle textures. Offered in various sizes and finishes, it stands out for its visual design, especially in its UC Trademark colour variant.
Tested here in Large and Super Soft, it’s a very easy toy to insert, though the sensations remain on the lighter side. The wide base restricts angle variations, and the toy requires a specific insertion angle, with little room to adjust once in place.
This is a well-made, visually appealing toy that may suit those who enjoy unique shapes and gentle textures — but it will feel too mild for users seeking stretch or intense fullness.
A test born from a conversation and a taste for colour
Following an interview with the team at Uncover Creations, the brand offered me the chance to test two of their models. I accepted, curious to see in person the colour finishes that had caught my eye online. The delivery didn’t go perfectly, but it gave me a chance to note a few things about the packaging.
A choice driven by the signature colour
This test follows an interview with the Uncover Creations team, who also manage Sinnovator. Two separate brands, run by the same people — a detail they explain in the interview.
After our exchange, the brand offered to send me two models: The Alien (reviewed here) and The Knot, which will be featured in a later article. I picked The Alien mainly for its UC Trademark colour, which is shown on the product page.
An imperfect delivery, but quickly resolved
The first toy I received wasn’t in the correct colour — the finish looked dull and didn’t match what I expected. After a quick email exchange, a replacement was sent without fuss. No complaints about customer service.
The packaging, however, still needs work: the toys arrive wrapped in paper, with no individual bag or storage pouch. As a result, some fibres and particles stuck to the silicone — an issue also raised by a Reddit user.
The brand responded directly to that post, explaining their decision to avoid plastic and acknowledging that the current solution isn’t ideal. A new type of packaging is currently in development — we’ll see how it evolves.
Choosing the right version of The Alien
Before diving into the actual test, here’s a quick overview of the available options: sizes, firmness levels, finishes… The toy can be customised in several ways, but not all combinations are available for every model.
Four sizes for a more accessible experience
The Alien comes in four sizes, from X-Small to Large. The range is consistent, but even the “Large” version feels relatively compact if you’re used to XXL toys. This is clearly a design aimed at accessible use, with the focus on shape and aesthetics.
Size Name | Size | Usable size | Circumference at head | Circumference at midpoint | Circumference at base |
XS | 14.2 cm | 10.9 cm | 10.4 cm | 13.5 cm | 23.9 cm |
S | 16.3 cm | 13 cm | 11.9 cm | 15.5 cm | 26.9 cm |
M | 18 cm | 14.5 cm | 13 cm | 17.5 cm | 30.2 cm |
L | 21.1 cm | 17.3 cm | 14.5 cm | 20.3 cm | 34.8 cm |
Variable softness depending on the model
For this test, I chose the Super Soft version — a very supple firmness, pleasant to the touch. Other options are available on certain models, such as Medium, Squishy Soft, or Dual Density — though the latter is not available for The Alien at the time of writing. Availability varies by model, so check each product page carefully.
Simple or complex finishes, up to the signature colour
Several finish styles are available: Solid, Fade, Marble, or Surprise Me (where the colour is chosen by the brand). Each model also features a signature colour, called UC Trademark, shown in the main product image.
That’s the option I chose for The Alien: a mix of metallic blue and deep violet, with strong contrast that gives the toy a lot of visual appeal. It was actually this specific colour that made me want to try the toy.
A distinct and visually refined design
Designed by Excelddesigns, who has created several other models for Uncover Creations (The Dragon, The Werewolf, The Alien II…), The Alien features a curved silhouette, a well-defined head, and sculptural detailing. Visually, the finish is clean and consistent, with a strong identity — even if the final result differs slightly from the product photos.
A curved shape with defined details
The Alien has a pronounced curve and an easily recognisable shape. The head is well formed, with a deep central groove. The front of the shaft resembles a rib cage, reinforcing the toy’s alien aesthetic. The back features bumps and dips with subtle asymmetry.
The bulk of the toy is concentrated in the upper section, with the lower part being narrower. The base is large relative to the rest of the toy and provides solid stability. A Vac-U-Lock hole is present underneath, and the brand logo is engraved discreetly on the side.
A well-executed toy, though results vary from piece to piece
I went with the UC Trademark colour, the one featured on the product page. The mix of bright blue and deep violet, with glittery highlights, looks great in person. As is often the case with hand-poured silicone, the exact finish may vary slightly from the photos. The contrast is still appealing, just less striking than in the official images.
Smooth insertion, but subtle sensations
In hand, The Alien draws attention with its shape and textures. But in use, the sensations are relatively subtle, with easy insertion, minimal internal variation, and a base that introduces some constraints. Here’s what I experienced — both solo and with two toys.
A shape that slips in with ease
Despite its textured appearance, The Alien slides in all at once, with no real resistance. That’s partly due to my experience level, but also to the shape of the toy itself: once the fairly pronounced head is past, the shaft follows a fairly linear progression, without major changes in girth or pronounced ridges. Insertion is smooth, but offers little variation once in place.
It’s clearly the upper part of the toy that stands out — and once it’s in, it acts like a lock, holding the toy in place. The very wide base, however, limits the angle of use: if it’s not inserted along the cleft of the buttocks, it may prevent full depth. The toy demands a specific alignment, with little flexibility in positioning.
A dual test to push the limits (and the bases)
Since I had received two copies, I took the opportunity to try a double insertion. A bit of an unusual test — but it made sense to explore what one (or two) of these toys could do.
Two aspects made things trickier: first, the softness of the Super Soft firmness, which causes the toys to squish or slide against each other when trying to insert them side by side; and second, the bulky bases, which don’t sit well next to each other.
That said, nothing insurmountable. Once both toys are in place, you get a stronger sense of pressure and lock-in than from either one alone. It opens the door to more advanced play — provided there’s a version with a larger format. Maybe one day?
A toy to care for like a lasting object
Even though The Alien isn’t an XXL toy, it deserves the same care as a larger model. Platinum silicone, custom colour, Vac-U-Hole base… all good reasons to store it properly, whether for hygiene, longevity, or comfort of use.
Care: simple cleaning, deeper disinfection possible
After each use, wash it with warm water and mild soap (or a standard toy cleaner). If you’ve used silicone- or oil-based lube, a slightly stronger soap may help remove residues.
For deeper disinfection, several options are available: boil it for a few minutes, run it through the dishwasher (no detergent), or soak it for ten minutes in a 10% bleach solution. Once clean, dry it with a lint-free cloth or paper towel, then let it air dry completely.
Storage: avoid mixing incompatible materials
Uncover Creations recommends storing their toys in an airtight container once fully dry. Unlike some manufacturers, they state that silicone-to-silicone contact is safe. However, avoid storing them with toys made from PVC, TPE, or questionable materials — especially those sold as “silicone” on Amazon, which may not be genuine.
If you own multiple toys or want to avoid dust transfer, individual pouches are still a good idea, even though they’re not included by default.
Usage tips: all lubes allowed, quality recommended
Most manufacturers discourage the use of silicone lube, but Uncover Creations places no such restriction. According to them, their silicone is compatible with water-, silicone-, and oil-based lubes. The only real concern is the quality of the lubricant itself: avoid low-end products — not for the toy’s sake, but to protect your body.
If anything unusual happens, the brand encourages you to contact them directly for a replacement. And if you’re using the Vac-U-Hole under the base, don’t forget to clean any accessories as well — especially when used with a harness or machine.
The Alien in summary: refined design, restrained experience
With The Alien, Uncover Creations delivers a well-designed toy with a distinct look — curved silhouette, subtle textures, and a signature colour. It’s well crafted, pleasant in hand, and easy to insert thanks to its linear shape and soft firmness.
But beyond that first good impression, the experience stays fairly mild. Sensations are mostly concentrated at the top, with no real escalation, and the wide base limits flexibility. Even in double use, the toy’s potential is held back by its size and proportions.
In short, The Alien is a beautiful object, ideal for those who appreciate visual design and accessible shapes. If you’re looking for intense sensations, progressive depth, or true stretch, though, it may feel a little tame — unless Uncover Creations eventually offers a larger version.
Where to buy The Alien?
The Alien is available exclusively on the Uncover Creations website, where you’ll find all their models, colours, and customisation options. That’s also where you’ll find details on firmness levels, finishes, and Vac-U-Lock compatibility.
Since the brand is based in the UK, customs and VAT charges may apply for EU orders — something to keep in mind when purchasing.
